The Trio in tour
The concerts were
organized
by EMCY (
European Union of Music Competitions for Youth), which, each year,
chooses groups or soloists, among the winners of the competitions of
the Federation, to perform in a series of concerts named "Euro-Debut".
For the year 2007, they chose the young Serb pianist, Sara
Vujadinovich, and us.

This series of concerts was an important opportunity for us to be introduced to the central-European public and to meet and appreciate the young pianist, Sara, with whom we played the Quartet op.44 Schumann and found a similarity of purpose and a deep affinity, which the public appreciated at every concert. Responding to requests of the Organization, the programme of the concerts included also an Italian contemporary piece, Elegia by Fausto Serbastiani, a composition written specifically for us as winners of the scholarship "Stefania Azzaro" (2005).
