organized by the Institute of Italian Culture in
Guatemala City and the Italian Ebassy in Nicaragua in cooperation with

| We
had
already been to Mexico several times, but this was the first time
for us in Guatemala and Nicaragua and the emotion was strong! Every
country has its peculiarities, beauties and attractions; with a
very dense program we couldn't visit the places we would have liked,
but we came back to Italy with a wonderful experience: we met
wonderful people and we knew a country and his culture During the concerts in large theaters of ancient and very suggestive atmospheres the audience welcomed us with warm applause. The love, the interest and participation for classical music by many young people who came to the events, that gave us great satisfaction! On this tour we spend considerable time to teach students in Conservatiorio National Music of Guatemala City, the Foundation Pais, the Chamber Orchestra of San Lucas, National Symphony Orchestra. The talent and determination of these guys, combined with great enthusiasm, encouraged us to engage with great dedication, giving them all the time and attention they could. The experience was really beautiful and we hope to be able to help them in their musical increase like so many people have shared with us their unconditional love for music. |
